Analysis and Modeling of Software

This is the first post about our Project in the subject Analysis and Modeling of Software. I’ll do it all of this posts in English because I’m working with a Swedish and a Mexican guy.

Our Team is called SavingPrivatKen (SPK) and we want to set up a software with UML which is called Canvas 2.0.

Our idea was to write a program with which you can handle all that stuff which is important for organizational things at an university. For example the registration of new students and giving them an ID or deleting it when they finish their studies or get exmatriculated. Those things would be summarized in the Use Case Matriculate. So it’s in a software to handle all the things that can be digitalized in an modern university.

The Involved stakeholders will be

• the students
• the teachers
• external websites
• the administration.
• the TEC

Our First Idea of the Use Cases needed

In the picture above you can find our first Use Cases, probably we will have more at the end. Those seemed to be the most important ones to us.

As you can see there are some very simple ones like Submit Student Attendance which is only connected to the Professors or more complicated ones like Login for example.

In the next post we will expand the Use Cases and give this project more depth.
